Little Workshop Week

I’ve got two girl babies coming who will need (expect) quilts, and I also need to have some little bags, so that was my work for this week:

It’s harder to work with silks and slippery shiny fabrics, but at the same time, it’s fun because the results are so lovely:

Also made tablier style Christmas aprons for two buddies:

Very nice! I am on the homestretch of the king sized Dear Jane. I didn’t do anything for Christmas this year since I gifted 12 quilts last year. This year was for me.

love the pink quilts. I am sure the girls will love them too. I see that you have been working in pink all year – the large pink quilt you posted earlier is fabulus and the borders you added make the quilt sing. Great work!

Wooo HOOOO on you, Momcat! You’ve been working on Dear Jane forever! What will challenge you next?

LLOOLL, Violette, you are right, I have done a lot in pink this year. The Barbie Gets An Edge quilt was fun, and these two are for new baby girls. Pink is not usually my favorite, but somehow this year did seem to include a lot of pink!
